Hotel Empress Zoe consists of several old style townhouses centered on a private archeological garden which borders the ruins of an ancient Bath House built in 1483. The top terraces offer panaromic views of the Marmara Sea, ancient walls and Hagia Sophia. The hotel has 25 rooms and suites individually decorated in combinations of wood and stone featuring textiles, original paintings. The central garden is an oasis of bubbling fountains bordered by the flower-studded domes and ivy-clad ruins of Isak Pasha Hamam. This place is such a gem. Hotel owners are Australian.
The location is so close to all the tourist attractions but manages to be a quiet haven away from the crowds as soon as you are inside. Great dining and shopping within walking distance as well. The place itself is beautiful, vey comfortable.
